AUSTRALIA DAY/FATHERS BIRTHDAY!

So today is Australia day.

But it's also my Fathers birthday.

And i spent the whole day, out a Kyneton, with my Father.

He literally spent no time with the rest of the family.

Hahaha.

But we were out at the race course for most of the day.

We were there a couple hours before the first race.

And stayed to the final one.

It was a good day though.

My fathers horse won the race it was in.

And the horses trainer won all 5 races he had horses entered in.

I also won $500

And i won the least out of everyone there.

My dad got about $5000

Not including money won from his horse winning.

Se he ended up pretty well.

Oh, and did i also mention that i went there with $3...

AW YEAHHH!!!!!!

But now iv'e returned.

Without my father though.

He's still out at Kyneton...

...I think...

So it was an awesome Australia day/father birthday today.

:D

In other news.

I'm also planning to switch my major at Uni from Animation to Programming.

I sent off an email to administration there inquiring about being able to change.

But they're lazy biatches and haven't replied to me ಠ_ಠ

I might have to head into QATNM and ask about it in person.

I'll be sad if i can't change my major.

But it makes no difference.

If i can change, i'll be a programmer, if not i'll stay an animator.

Should be good wither way.

POSTING!

BECAUSE IT'S BEEN 2 DAYS SINCE IV'E LAST DONE SO!

So, I didn't post for the last 2 days.

Why?

Because on Sunday night, i was at a friends place, and i didn't get back to ate.

And when i did, i just instantly went to sleep.

And why didn't i post yesterday?

Because i was completely pre-occupied with a game.

And i was also feeling really depressed yesterday.

Something which i also blame on that game.

I was playing Die2Nite.

And i had a really important event starting yesterday.

I was one of the 240 players to enter the "Clash of the Titans".

Which was meant to start yesterday.

But here's the kick-

It didn't.

I couldn't actually enter my town until this morning.

And even then, the game didn't really start until a couple of hours ago.

So for the whole day, i just sat there.

and waited.

waiting for nothing...

So i assume that's what made me depressed ಠ_ಠ

On the plus side though.

While waiting, it gave me the chance to start watching Shiki.

Which iv'e been meaning to do for a while.

I wanted to watch it solely so i could see the vivisection scene.

Unfortunately, that scene wasn't until episode 14.

So i also didn't get to see that until today either.

Man, yesterday really sucked...

But today i finally got to go with my room mate and check out a potential place to move in to.

The place we went was good.

Except for the fact that it had no furniture.

And we NEED the place to be fully furnished...

But that's about it.

I guess i'll finish of Shiki then find something else to do.

Ah, i'm also going back to Bendigo tomorrow.

It's my fathers birthday on Thursday.

So i'm heading home for that.

BRICKVENTION!

So i went to the 2012 LEGO convention today.

Yeah, you heard me.

LEGO convention.

We were in the city for 3 1/2 hours waiting for the event to start.

Then we waited 20 minutes outside to get in.

Then we looked at LEGO for 20 minutes, and left.

WOOOOOOOOOO.

But some of the stuff there was awesome.

And getting to spend the day with Laura and Luke was also fun.

...Even if i did get sprayed with girls perfume...

The smell, it's still on me.

But on the plus side, i now have many pictures of Laura.

Which she hates.

So that just gave more a good boost to my day.

AND IN ANIME NEWS-

A new ep of Highschool DxD came out today.

(Softcore hentai FTW)

And i realised something.

There is no way to get through an episode of that, without seeing boobs.

And there never will be.

Why?

Because there's boobs in the anime's opening song.

Just in case they forget to put boobs in the rest of the episode.

At least there'll still be the opening...

Also, more .GIF's of the show.

Because everyone loves girls and animations.

The only other stuff i really did was play more L.A. NOIRE.

Only once, ONCE, did it censor it.
...And what a bad censoring job that it.

Get the character, or an object/clothing to hide it.

Have a large beam of white trail from top to bottom of the video, covering the explicit parts.

I also played (much) more L.A. NOIRE today.
Went through the rest of homicide.
And made it into Vice.
Now i'm on the last mission of Vice.

I never got to go.
My house made was gone.

So never got to check the place out...

COLE PHELPS IS A REALLY GOOD ARTIST!

So iv'e been playing L.A. NOIRE lately.

I played a while ago when my brother first purchased it.

But i stopped playing after i became an ad vice detective.

Homicide was just too fun.

I couldn't forget about it...

But seriously, the picture's Cole Phelps draws in his notepad are crazy good.

Where does he even get the time to do this?

On the more Japanese side.

I really want to watch Bakemonogatari.

I have every episode, and i have had for a while.

But i still haven't watched it.

Iv'e heard really good things about the series.

And i also want to watch Nisemonogatari.

But i can't do that until iv'e watched Bakemonogatari first...

But then again, i should also finish watch Railgun before i start on that.

Because i do love my Railgun.

And in real life-

Tomorrow i think i'm going out to take a look at a potential place to move into.

But that depends if my roommate wakes up in time.

As not only does he usually wake around 3pm+ on a normal day.

But tonight he's out with a friend.

So it could be longer...

Ah, as i discussed with another of my acquaintances last night-

While on the Die2Nite world forums.

I noticed another hero whose Avatar was a lot like mine.

It seems that they actually went ahead and completely ripped mine off.

The picture used there is the icon for a Guardian class hero.
Which seems to be what we both play.
But the experience difference between us is immense.

He has 357 Soul points, and 23 days as a Guardian.
I on the other hand have 1678 Soul points, and 143 days as a Guardian.

So the more experienced player is definitely I.
But our avatars are far to similar.
There's no way we both could have come up with the exact same idea...

I'VE HAD A DIE IN MY MOUTH FOR 4 HOURS!

I don't know why i had though.

I randomly found one of my die.

And then i put it in my mouth.

And there it stayed for 4 hours.

I never removed it in that time.

Even when i ate dinner, i still kept it in my mouth.

I have dedication!

Today i also returned from Bendigo to Melbourne.

I get a one week break, then i head back.

As it's my fathers birthday next week.

Same day as Australia day.

Yay...

I'm also playing some L.A Noire.

It's been a while since iv'e played it.

And i just borrowed it off my brother.

So i'm going to enjoy that.

And i'm downloading the Darkness II demo.

Hopefully that's awesome.

(In truth, i just want to mutilate people)

I've been playing Die2Nite lately.

It's an on and off game i play often.

I started playing it back when it first released.

I was actually one of the first 500 people to sign up.

Back in that time, it was only 1500 people who had signed up.

Now 50,000+ have signed up.

I advise all to have a go at it and see what it's like.

It's a browser based, real time, zombie survival game.

You get thrown into a town with 39 other people,

And you have to survive for as long as possible.

But you WILL die.

Was it worth losing all of my data, and hours of fixing my computer; just to get this wicked wallpaper of Bunny looking awesome?

But instead i destroyed my laptop.

All i wanted, was the ability to set a wallpaper again and NOT have it disappear.

That somehow lead to me destroying some of it's internal system...

I don't know how though.

So i can do whatever the hell i want...

Just wanted to talk about my hardships in downloading anime.

I really want to finish all my series so that i have a complete collection.

But something always distracts me and make sit harder...

I went to go download the rest of Soul Eater.

So i went to Nyaa.eu to see if i that had a torrent of every ep, so that i could just downloading everything apart from what i already had.

Then i seen that Coalgirls had there own subs up...

There were 3 torents.

-Ep 1-13 of Soul Eater 720p

-Ep 14-25 of Soul Eater 720p

-Ep 26-37 of Soul Eater 720p

And that was it.

They'd only subbed that many eps.

And i already had the first 25 episodes.

So why would i download those?

...Well i did anyway.

Coalgirls, how did you get such a tight grasp on me?

Why must i download EVERYTHING you sub?

So now, instead of just downloading the remaining episodes of Soul Eater.

I'm instead downloading most of the eps i already have, and am prolonging my complete collection, due to the fact that Coalgirls has not released all the eps yet...

Oh god i hope this doesn't happen again.

But if Coalgirls is involved, it probably will...

I'd be honestest when saying that the anime is probably better then the manga.

Which is rare, as that's never the case.

But it took a while to download, which makes it all the more sweeter.

I shall savour all 24 eps of it.

But when i finish, i can tell that i'm going to be sad :<

I also recently read "Uzumaki" by Junji Ito.
It was full of nothing but creepy horror.
Gore.
Weird story.
Odd characters.
I loved it!

But the ending was kinda quick, and never really explained everything...
But it was a good read anyway.
I should read more of the mangaka's stuff...

At the same time as watching Railgun.
I'm also reading Kurosaki Corpse Delivery Service.
It seems good so far.
But i hope the story expands.
...And gives me some good gore...

And for the first time, i may not change it.

I realised yesterday that the full version of "Just awake" by Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas was released a few days ago.
This made me extremely happy.
So then i googled the full version, and found it.
At first i was displeased with the full version.
But it's grown on me.
I very much enjoy it now.
And the album was also released with an extra song on it.
Which i also really good.

Pfft, i'm heaps good at punting.

I also finished watched "Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai".

It was really good.

Kobato and Maria are so cute ಠ_ಠ

Though Yozora was kinda annoying (I preferred Sena).

But the ending didn't really wrap anything up.

So there can easily be another season.

TODAY I MADE LASAGNE!

Which isn't an uncommon thing.

My family always makes me cook 3 things:

-Chicken w/ Mushroom sauce

-Meatballs

-Lasagne

Why?

Because i usually refuse all the other cooking jobs.

But those 3 are my favourites to eat.

So i damn well won't let anybody else cook a shabby version...

I even took pictures of the process.

(I don't know why...)

While playing Stepmania today.

I managed to get an AA rank on my favourite song.

I was playing it on hard lvl9 2x with the confusion, dizzy and bumpy enhancers on...

...How i achieved a higher score with those enhancers on, I will never know...

It never went this fast when i lived here...

Now that i think about it, I really don't remember waking up...

I played some more Stepmania today, and i finally beat some of the hard songs iv'e been meaning to pass.

Now iv'e realised, anything harder than hard, is just to hard...

So yeah.

I'll be staying at my mediocre stepmania level forever...

I was also playing minecraft earlier.

It's been a VERY LONG time since i last played it.

But i had to make a new account,

And then re-buy the game.

Because for some reason, my old account which already had the purchased version on it; just disappeared...

I don't know if that happened to more people,

But it definitely happened to me...

Then again, i did stop playing it for a couple of months beforehand.

So something may have happened in that time period.

BUT I DIGRESS!

Iv'e also noticed that in the manga i'm currently reading (The One),

Sexuality in it is extremely diverse.

So many of the characters just randomly swing from one sexuality to another.

It's gets confusing to keep track of which characters are straight or not...

And there seems to be a tad bit of homosexual incest creeping up along side the storyline.

So that's also making it weird...

But i haven't really done much else today.

Watched a little more Eureka Seven. (Anemone appeared, yay)

Also did a fair bit of cooking today.

I don't know why though.

Having really played much games though, except stepmania.

Ah, i can't get Steins;Gate to work at the moment.

Every time i press Start, it just loops back to the main menu and i can't get into the actual game...

But i'll eventually fix that, shouldn't be too hard to do.

So i ended up playing some Resident Evil.

And then we went out in search of food.

Which turned into 4 hours in the city.

I also just finished downloading and installing-

One of my favourite anime's, which i remembered was originally a game.

But it turns out it's an eroge.

But i don't know how...

So i'm going to enjoy that soon.

My desktop is also begging to fill itself with games.

I usually have a nice, clean desktop, that has only a few apps or shortcuts on it.

By my recent surge in games has changed that...

OUT FOR THE DAY!

So i went out for most of today.

Was hanging out with a mate and his girlfriend.

Was good times.

Went around the city first,

Then my place,

Then to a bar,

Then my place again.

Left at 1pm, came back at 12am.

So i was pretty much out for the whole night.

Was overall enjoyable.

We were at the bar for a few hours, which was odd as i don't drink...

Towards the end though, Whilst the other 2 were gone, i randomly got picked up by two women.

Was not really what i was expecting, but the looks on my friends face when he got back- priceless.

His girlfriend also got REALLY drunk.

And the crap she's saying, is destroying my mind.

Didn't paly anything important today, and i didn't watch any anime either...

But i did read a little of "The One"-

A manga about modelling...

It's good though, i'm enjoying it.

Ah, i did play some resident evil with my friend though.

Ah, i love that game.

But now i must return to my social life, as they ended up back at my place.

So i have to put up with their lovey dovey + their drunkenness...

I was also given a new steam game today.

My friend just randomly gave me a steam key today, which unlocked "Max and the Magic Marker".

I've yet to full try the game though.

But he said it was good.

I also played some Stepmania, and KEYBOARD DRUMSET FUCKING WEREWOLF.

Which is awesome.

I can only pass the first couple of levels.

And i still have no idea what the game is about...

But it's just awesome.

Also, after talking with a mate today;

I really hope we get some hot girls in the next Uni intake.

As i decided today to stop liking the girl i previously had a crush on.

Lost cause.

But i'll be sad if it's a huge sausage fest.

Nobody wants that crap.

But it wont make a difference, i'll be forever alone anyway.

Somehow skyrim crawled it's way back into my life.

I don't know how, it just did.

Today i finished the Thieves guild for the first time on my new character.

Last night, while i was casually browsing an image and text based forum, the foundation of which is supported by "upvotes", and also humbly conversing with acquaintances via internet proxy. (i was on reddit and facebook).

Something crazy happened.

My PS3 controller just starts vibrating like crazy on the floor.

So i turn on my TV.

And switch to the PS3's source.

And then, right there, just standing and doing nothing.

My skyrim character is being mauled by 5 city guards.

Many things rushed into my head.

"Why is my character being attacked?"

"Why is skyrim even on?"

"The PS3's been turned off for the last hour???"

So that led to A LOT of confusion for me...

I've also been lacking in direct inter-human communication lately.

I should really go outside and meet with some friends...

But a lot of people are gone for the holidays.

And others live ages away.

I guess i'll have to compromise at some point...

No really, i did.

I stayed up late playing Skyrim, and reading.

And ended up falling asleep on the floor in my loungeroom.

Even though my bed was less then 10 metres away...

Speaking of Skyrim, i made a new character.

He was to be my most epic of epic creations.

So he had the be given an epic name.

In the end it was decided to be "Hummingbird Tissue Swag".

A fine name, for a fine hero.

I also played a bit more bastion today.

Damn the game is so good.

The art.

The narrative.

The gameplay.

SO GOOD.

While on the topic of games.

I recently downloaded 2 sim dating games.

One about going to a school for disabled people.

And the other about aliens, and your friend becoming the president.

They're both pretty good.

Oh, and did i mention, in the latter you have the chance to make love with a spaceship.

Yeah, you heard me right. A spaceship.

Deal with it.

Lately i've also been reading medical manga.

Which is one of my favourites outside romance.

I don't know why, but i just really enjoy them.

Franken Fran was categorised under "medical manga", so technically that was also one.

And currently i'm reading Team Medical Dragon.

It's very medical orientated.

So i'm enjoying it.

I also finished downloading Eureka Seven.

Even though iv'e only been able to watch the first few episodes, it's still as good as i remember it.

But i have to watch the series in English.

Because unfortunately it has no English subtitles.

For neither the English or Japanese audio tracks...

So i'll have to put up with English voices.

But it's not so bad, as i originally watched it in English when i first watched it years ago.

Ah, i watched the Infinite Stratos OVA today as well.

I originally downloaded it a month ago.

But it was full of singing, and the real life voice actors, So i thought it was crap...

Then recently i read a review of it, and i was like "Hang on, this isn't what i watched?".

So i went back and re-downloaded it, and surely enough it was different.

It was good.

My only complaint is that the second half focused a lot on Houki.

But i don't like Houki.

I like Laura.

Why was there no love for Laura?

But the parts she had in the first half were full of lols anyway.

So i'm happy with that.

I was also talking with a friend about my "Top 10 anime girls list".

I'M GETTING MORE AND MORE LAZY!

Not in blog posts (at least, i hope).

But more so in general life.

Today i woke up after 12pm, which may not seem like a bad thing.

But I DON'T LIKE TO SLEEP IN.

I feel that it's better if you go to sleep at a good time, and wake up early in the morning.

But lately it's been sleep at 2-3am and waking >10am.

Which is NOT good.

I need to fix my sleep habits before Uni starts again.

And also because i lose far to much valuable time sleeping.

Sleep's good and all, but i look at it more as a necessity rather than a luxury.

I'd prefer to have 8 hours a day, 11pm-7am.

But sleep pattern i can imagine...

So i'll get to work on fixing that.

But WHY, did i end up staying up late anyway?

Well i think my mind took over in the fact that i DON'T NEED to wake up early in the morning, and just figures i should go to sleep whenever.

Also, when i get really into something (usually manga, rarely ever something else (games, anime, etc)), i tend to stay up late enjoying it.

Also i have a friend who's pretty much nocturnal, so night is the best time to talk to her ಠ_ಠ

I've also now played every steam game i've purchased thus far.

Which is big, as that's something i thought i'd never do.

There are definitely some games among them that i will play again.

And those i don't particularly like...

I also just finished DOMINATING in a game of Atom Zombie Smasher.

Those zed's got nothing on me~~~~

Ah, i'm also currently downloading Eureka Seven.

A classic anime that i used to watch back in the day.

(note, back in the day can easily mean a few years ago)

It was one of the anime's in my anime's 2nd impact.

(There are 4 anime impacts, i'll explain them all sometime)

So i hope it's as good as i remember it.

And the boredom is nearly taking over.

Iv'e gotten bored with most of my console games, and am steadily getting bored with my steam ones as well.

This is not good.

Why must i get bored of games so fast?

...Sigh...

I can also feel myself getting less and less interested in constantly reading manga.

I might have to start my anime watching again.

But i feel weird when i watch a lot of anime at one time.

Makes me feel like i'm wasting my life D:

Ah... but those are the woe's that i must put up with.

Things that are easy in my life:

-living

-being awesome

-anything at uni

Things that are hard with my life:

-making my own money

-love

-finding things to keep me sane

Maybe i'll have to make my new years resolution to fix those last 3 things.

But it sounds so hard :<
